Refreshing Iced Rooibos Tea

Ingredients:

  • 4 Tozzy Red Rooibos Tea Bags

  • 8 cups of water

  • 1/4 cup honey or your preferred sweetener (optional)

  • 1 lemon, sliced

  • Fresh mint leaves (optional)

  • Ice cubes

Instructions:

  1. Boil Water:

  • Bring 8 cups of water to a boil in a large pot.

  1. Steep Tea:

  • Remove the pot from heat and add the 4 Tozzy Red Rooibos Tea Bags.

  • Cover and let the tea bags steep for 5-7 minutes for a robust flavor.

  1. Sweeten (Optional):

  • Remove the tea bags and add 1/4 cup of honey (or your preferred sweetener) while the tea is still warm. Stir until fully dissolved.

  1. Cool Down:

  • Allow the tea to cool to room temperature, then transfer it to a pitcher.

  1. Chill:

  • Refrigerate the tea for at least 2 hours or until it is well chilled.

  1. Serve:

  • Fill glasses with ice cubes.

  • Pour the chilled rooibos tea over the ice.

  • Garnish with lemon slices and fresh mint leaves if desired.

  1. Enjoy:

  • Serve immediately and enjoy your refreshing iced rooibos tea!

Tips:

  • For a fruity twist, you can add slices of fresh fruits such as peaches, berries, or oranges to the tea.

  • If you prefer a stronger tea, you can use more tea bags or steep for a longer period.

  • Adjust the sweetness according to your taste preference.
