Ingredients:

  • 2 hibiscus tea bags

  • 2 cups water

  • 1 tablespoon honey or agave syrup (adjust to taste)

  • 1/2 teaspoon grated ginger

  • 1/2 teaspoon orange zest

  • 1 cinnamon stick

  • 1-2 whole cloves (optional)

  • Ice cubes (optional)

  • Orange slices or mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Boil Water: Bring 2 cups of water to a boil in a pot or kettle.

  2. Steep Hibiscus Tea Bags: Once the water is boiling, remove it from heat and add the hibiscus tea bags. Allow them to steep for about 5-7 minutes.

  3. Add Flavorings: After steeping, remove the tea bags and add honey or agave syrup to the hot tea. Stir until the sweetener is dissolved.

  4. Infuse with Flavors: Add grated ginger, orange zest, cinnamon stick, and cloves (if using) to the tea. Let the flavors infuse for an additional 5-7 minutes.

  5. Strain and Cool: If you added ginger and other solids, strain the tea to remove them. Let the tea cool to room temperature.

  6. Chill (Optional): Refrigerate the tea if you prefer it cold. You can also add ice cubes directly to the tea.

  7. Garnish (Optional): Before serving, garnish with orange slices or mint leaves for an extra touch of freshness.

  8. Enjoy: Pour the exotic hibiscus tea into glasses and enjoy the unique blend of flavors.
